Millions Of Men Are About To Get Interested In Twilight

It's official. Millions of men are about to develop a sudden, intense desire to see the new Twilight movie. Why?

I was clicking through the hordes of recent Twilight-related photo shoots and interviews, and this one really made me smile. Ashley Greene was featured in Men's Health magazine. Now, I'll be honest. I don't have much of an opinion about Men's Health. I kind of think of it as a light-read for the beefcake bunch. Typical covers look like this:

In the US they have shirts on the cover models. Hence, HELLO SINGAPORE!

For further viewing pleasure, Google Men's Health models. I was just looking for appropriate examples for the blog, and *poof* hours disappeared. Good stuff.

Anyway, so you Twilight and New Moon are the big time when they crack the muscle man magazines. Admittedly, you're getting Ashley Greene here, not Alice Cullen, and certainly not Rob. Still, it's a safe bet that you could bribe a significant other into seeing the movie using photos like this:

No need to mention that the wardrobe people dress her in fugly clothes the whole movie. Let the fantasy live on. It's a sure way to lure yourself into a date to the movie! ;-)

Watching For The Goods

It's been an interesting short week after the long weekend. Damn, has it gone fast! I still don't feel like I am on the right day of the week, or all caught up on anything.

I am, however, still patiently waiting for a bit of Twilight News to really light my fire. You know, something that isn't shopping, sushi, or people leaving Vancouver.

I'm watching and waiting . . . .for you to do something already.

Thankfully, the MTV VMA's are this weekend, which means that at least there will be new fun photos to play with. And video clips, which I like. And of course ... the fodder for fan made video clips and photo manips, which are even more fun.

I'll be driving back to the East Coast for part of the weekend, though, but I am looking forward to some "me" time after all this "family time", and "me" time means a big bunch of "catching up on Twistuff" time is about to occur. Yay!

Who The Heck Did You Let Dress You?

Okay, as long as I am in total rant mode, I'm going to let the costume department have it for this and other crimes against humanity:

What the heck is that outfit? I thought Alice was supposed to look like a fashion plate, not like she had a terminal sun allergy or lupus. It's like that one time when your friends mom got left unattended at the mall and thought she'd try and look hip or something.

It's almost as bad as this one:

It's like a modeling campaign for Coldwater Creek, or the new Stepford Wives of Forks. So annoyed with this!
